History

Crack 裂缝 is formed in October 2005. Influenced by thrash bands such as Metallica, Overkill, Testament, Slayer, Exodus etc, they also went onto the same path in music. With time they continued to refine their own style in the genre and their skills in songwriting and live performance.

On March 4th 2006 they made their first gig and finaly became recognized as one of the rare and youngest Chinese thrash metal bands of that time. Within the next two years they have become more active on Beijing's live show stages, e.g. in Get Lucky Bar, 13 Club, Nameless Highland etc. They appeared on 330 Metal Festival many times, played on 13Hz Music Festival 13Hz音乐节, the "Metal never left" gig series 金属从未离开系列, the Dunkelnacht gig series 暗夜妖娆网站系列演出 and finally in 2009 on Pilot Records Summer Music Festival 飞行者夏日领航音乐节.

裂缝乐队成立于2005年10月，因深受METALLICA、OVER KILL,TESTAMENT、slayer、EXODUS等metal乐队的影响，乐队也走上了敲击金属的路线，开始编写属于自己乐队风格的歌曲，不断追求着速度和力量，同时也注重着旋律让自己的音乐更加饱满。

在不断努力后，于2006年3月4日，乐队进行了第一次的演出，同时也成为了国内少有的、非常年轻的敲击金属乐队之一。之后乐队也继续沿着敲击金属的路线进行创作，之后的两年间在北京豪运酒吧、13CLUB、无名高地等地进行了多场演出，还参加了330重金属音乐节、13Hz音乐节、金属从未离开系列、暗夜妖娆网站系列演出等。09年参加了飞行者夏日领航音乐节。

在过去几年的历练中，乐队经过了三次鼓手更换与一次吉他手更换，但乐队并没有停滞前进，乐队早期创建者贝斯手谷胜军和主音吉他手刘经纬坚持创作，乐队作品与演奏技巧在几次变故中日渐成熟，现在的裂缝乐队已成长为一只风格硬朗，技术细腻的激流金属乐队。
