Empylver is a one-man-band project from A.J.Alex, who is quite a independant person: he doesn't give interviews, nor plays live and his whereabouts are still unknown. We just know he wrote and recorded alone Wood Woud Would in 2006 which includes elements of Folk Metal (using European traditional songs), Doom Metal (for the atmosphere) and Black Metal (for the raw riffs and the vocals). There are currently no new releases after Wood Woud Would, but A.J.Alex has some other releases under his name, although these have nothing to do with metal anymore. The name Empylver is a combination of the names of two european metal bands: Empyrium and Ulver
