History
The band was found in May 1997 in Nanchang and renamed to Heresy in January 1998 after one unsuccessful live show.
In October 1998 the band recorded their first demo record.
In 2000 Heresy finally records their official CD in Beijing and until the month September their music style changes gradually to black metal. Their record was released in December by So Rock! Records.
After a short break in 2001 (due to piano studies of one band member), the band take up their musical activities in 2002 again and begin to record their second CD.
Bloodbath was interviewed by the Painkiller Heavy Music Magazine (8th issue) in 2003.
In 2004 Heresy is featured on the compilation CD So Metal!. In October the same year Heresy signs with Areadeath Productions.
