Mort Production is a underground brand who is dedicated to introduce Chinese Heavy Metal metal music to everybody all over the world.

Mort Productions was founded June 2001 by Painkiller people such as Chen Xi (Steelbath) and Yao Jin (Rotten Corpse). They have released CDs of Hades (Hades), Purgatory (Dream Of Moribund), Ritual Day (Sky Lake, Frostmoon Eclipse), Dying Fetus (Killing on love - VCD), reissuing the back programm of German death metal band OBSCENITY, cult compilation CDs: Resurrection of the Gods I - VI, China runs blood (death'n'grind compilation) and others.

They have connections with Morbid Records and have licences for distribution of Dying Fetus (Video) and the back catalogue of Obscenity within China.

Having expanded their network from Shanghai to Tianjin, from Beijing to Xi'an, Mort Production is the biggest underground label for heavy metal music in China.

History

Mort Productions was founded June 2001 by Painkiller people such as Chen Xi (Steelbath) and Yao Jin (Rotten Corpse). In November the same year they started the famous compilation series "Resurrection of the Gods" that featured numerous underground metal acts from Beijing and other havens of rock in China.
