History
What they call it indie pop & dance rock sounds rather like the standard british oriented rock that has been quite a fashion among Chinese underground rockers few years ago.
Formed in Summer 2008 this band lives by it's typical post 80's attitude, their live show tend to be full of energy and freshness, just the right vibe to start dancing, maybe that's what makes their music 'dance rock'. Their song "Dancing girl" was picked as the them song for the 2008 Xian Le-Lai-Le Happy Music Festival 《08西安乐来乐快乐音乐节》 which was also the first non-local Festival they have been invited to. After that many festival invitations followed. November 2009 Mosaic joint the '4th Little Bar China Tour' (over 10 different cities) together with Mr. Turtle, from then on, they are also one of those Chengdu bands who caught the nation wide attention.

An indie pop & dance rock outfit from Chengdu, Mosaic (马赛克) is nostalgic for the 80s kind of feeling. Dancing around and singing, they embody an era of eighties dance music that can be described with things like space shuttles and Rubik's cubes.
On May 3rd, 2010, they performed at the Midi Music Festival 2010. On July 15th, they performed at the Qingyuan Niu Yu Zui Festival 2010.
