History

1997 is set as the starting year of "the base". Bassist Skinless, guitarist Scalpel, lead vocal / guitar Desecration and drummer Wu begin their career with playing cover songs in schools.

June 1998: Drummer Wu leaves the band as he's graduating from university in Jiangsu and starts to work.

November 1998: The band's name is changed to "Operating Table" and they are looking for a new drummer.

September 1999: Bassist Skinless graduates in Guangxi and leaves the band temporarily. "Operating Table" suspends all activities and waits.

February 2000: The drummer "River Poem" joins the band and activates it.

April 2000: The band plays live even missing an appropriate bassist.

June 2000: Bassist Si Yang Li helps the band during some performances.

February 2001: Drummer Ke joins the band.

March 2001: Skinless comes back to the band and Malevolent joins.

July 2001: Operating Table sign for their demo. Drummer Ke leaves the band to be immediately replaced by Zooparasite.

January 2002: With a fresh start, the band record their demo in Malevonts studio.

March 2002: The band member one after another refuse to perform.

July 2002: The final demo is released: "Dissection" having the songs: 1.Dissection, 2.Shears the throat, 3.Exterminates 4.Sleep, 5.Diary of a Madman.
