How to find out about concerts in China

To find out in China, where a gig is happening and what actually at this particular weekend is going on, can be sometimes quite frustrating, as there are numerous websites out there in web, giving each a slice of the actual gig cake... here is our advice for getting started:

Check out the venue

Go to our venue section and pick the venue websites to find out what is happening where. Most often there is more than one website listed, e.g. douban, myspace, blog, etc. Make sure to visit all of them, as not every venue is updating their main page. Douban however has become a major source for good gig information recently. Below are some starting points:
