History
Song Yuzhe was the founder of the band Wood pushing melon 木推瓜乐队 in 1998.
Wood Pushing Melon came to Beijing from Changchun (Northeast of China) in May, 2000.
In May 2001, they performed during the Midi Music Festival 2001.
It broke up after two years operation only.
The band left nine songs: "Bird man", "Do Suo Do", "How was the steel not made?", "Dare not look", "Have spelled the letters", "The birth of Tragedy", "Who do I look like?", "My four seasons", "I am modest to death".
They had no time even to produce a demo.
