Yaogun

Yaogun (摇滚, yáogǔn), term used in Chinese to describe rock'n'roll
Most often used in combination with either Zhongguo (China) as 中国摇滚 Zhōngguó yáogǔn or Yinyue (music) as 摇滚音乐 yáogǔn yīnyuè.
It was not until 1987 that the phrase "yao gun" was used.[1]
